Hi y'all, sorry for even longer gap between the last article. (Maybe I'm going for a logarithmic scale kinda deal ne?) Now yes yes, this is still not a video game annoucement. It actually kinda sad now but what can I do?
Obviously by the title of this article it's gonna be another yearly music work complilation. This one titled, well the title's literally in the article title so to say it again would be redundent. But as this is a sort of author commentary I could say that it doesn't meant anything more than the fact that I been doing them on my own because, well, i guess it's the anxiety. And while I proud of a lot of them, I still don't think it's good enough to widely release yet (whatever that means).
Unlike writeup for last year comp I think I'll yap less this year. There's really nothing to say much about it other than "I decide to upload it on Soundcloud" anyways. And perhaps it could uses some death of the author in increasing its listenablity.
A simple sound collage made in some frenzy involving dial-up tone, speakers feedback and cartoon bonk SFX. The cover is actually some guy hanging itself but i cropped it to be less serious.
FOUR MINUTES WAHAHAHA!!! though it's a multi-genre so it's kinda cheating. but yeah. The idea is you're going through many stations signify by all the johnra change. Looking back the train annoucement vocal's kinda corny but it fills exactly the role i wanted so it's nice in a way. For the genre list I would personally say it's [140]breakbeat -> goofy ass beat -> [180]breakcore -> [144]dnb -> chiptune. (wait huh? why is the dnb part 144 beeps??)
This is like an actual song, like no actually. There's some obvious wrong choices here and there but it follow structure and stuff? I actually unironically been listening to this song. Too bad no one else like, cared. And yeah, It's also only done because I hit my own technical debt on mixing all the sounds together. Though I overestimate how "undone" it is. It's definitly more than 43% done. Maybe I'll change the name to 85%? hmm...
Surprise it took me this long to make actual breakcore (purist shut the hell up for a second). And yes... it's "in 74" because i been listening to Venatian Snare back then... I actually don't even know if it's actually in 74 but i trust in project project config LOL. It's actually an abandoned draft (explained by the end of the song) but somehow people (4) seems to like this one? so i kept it up.
originally named blood.works and was originally made for endofsystem's complilation albums dot.works 2 but due to some unforseen circumstances I'm unable to finish it in time. (pss.. it involved doubt and fear and the likes) it's and IDM complilation kinda thing anyways so I don't think this song would even fit. It's still a shame though... It was lost for a while too but then I found it in some deep well so i finished and uploaded it. Thus the December date some keen eyes may see.
I watched video about aliasing in sound design and I put it to use. The main sound is from a glitch samples pack though, I didn't make that one.
I tried to upload the cover then soundcloud closed itself and now the cover is all white instead of the image I uploaded. I kept it though. The first part was kinda promising but I couldn't extend it to the fullest and it has taken too much time so it just turned into "that".
not a race
Calling back to [YEAR] but now with more avalible [WORDS]. a louder words. a more vivid vibrant vapid violent [VORDS].
Oh wow! a new section? Well, idk where to put this so I just stuff it here but Yeah! This is a collab works with the person who remix one of the song I made! I would personally say it was a gross abuse of the renowned free download 2025 Keyzone Classic piano vst but it was very fun! I a bit stressed out because I was afraid of dissapointing but idk i like it. Though it was more like a MONOHALLS then fd. then MONOHALLS then fd. then MONOHALLS then us "vs'ing" each other.
Go check them out too if you'd like. I think OVERDRIVE!!!!!! is like their magnum opus rn check that one in particular if you like something techy corey (and loud, don't forget).
